Family supper is a simple happening where we all sit down together at long candle lit tables and, over seasonal food and wine, become a community of strangers.

We had out first family supper at California College of the Arts. It was funded by a grant from the college. All students, staff and faculty were welcome to attend. Seating was designed to encourage people to sit next to someone they didn't know—as people came in they selected a fruit from a large tray and, by matching it with an additional piece of fruit at the table, found their seat.
